Derrick Rose has enjoyed a basketball rebirth, much to the delight of the NBA world. He has averaged 18.6 points and 4.7 assists per game and has looked , at times, like the DRose we fondly remember. Anytime he has had to miss a game this season, a collective breath is held as there is always the worry that once again Rose’s health has let him down. He has to leave the Timberwolves’ last game against the Lakers with an ankle injury and he will miss the club’s game tonight against the Utah Jazz.
Coach Ryan Saunders also told the media pregame that starting point guard Jeff Teague will be out as well for tonight’s game. Teague is suffering from left foot soreness.
